History

In 1923, Robert Hainstock purchased the Leduc Funeral Home, changing its name to Hainstock & Son Funeral Chapel. This was the 2nd funeral home in the Leduc, Alberta, area purchased by the Hainstock family, having also purchased Wainwright and Jackson Funeral Home in Edmonton in 1922.

The Hainstock family sold all interests in these 2 funeral homes in 1974. Today, Hainstock & Son Funeral Chapel is a member of the Dignity Memorial® network.
